Just for giggles!
In the largest investigation of its kind, federal authorities Tuesday announced the arrests of more than 100 people, including about 30 from the Bay Area, who are suspected of fraudulently applying for and obtaining U.S. passports using birth certificates of dead Americans.
Between July 2005 and August 2008, 112 individuals across the country were charged with federal passport fraud and related offenses, according to the U.S. State Department. The individuals charged include fugitives, military deserters, delinquent taxpayers, parolees, convicted felons, habitual drunken drivers and undocumented workers from more than 20 countries, all of whom wanted passports to hide from law enforcement, according to authorities.
This caption makes me crack up. I consider my birth certificate stolen by the state. It is most definitely sealed from me, I cannot get it, it is being held against my will. Does that mean I have to die to get the state of California to fight for my right to it? Must I be dead?
On the same note, does that put the State of California into the category of fugitives, convicted felons, parolees trying to escape parole etc.? Since they, in fact, are the ones who stole my record of birth from me?
Why are adoptees tossed into the dumpster ( pun intended! ) when it comes to identity rights? Why is our group of adopted people considered less than all others in regards to birth certificate access and importance of having?
I’m sick of being discriminated against. If for nothing else, for no other reason that alone should be sparking up adoptees around the nation. YOU ARE BEING TREATED LIKE A SECOND CLASS CITIZEN JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE ADOPTED. Can you hear that? Oh how I wish I could YELL that to the net…. wait! I think I feel a video in the making…yes one is definitely in the making.

The State Of California is full of crooked politicians who would rather discriminate against adoptees than be men and grow balls and change a system that daily violates the civil rights of thousands of people in our state.
