We are adult adoptees and foster care alumni.

For decades this state has denied us our own original birth certificates.
It has paid counties millions in federal bonuses to rip poor and Brown families apart.
It has allowed agencies to price infants by race, age, and “level of openness” like catalog items.

This is not “finding homes.”
This is government-sanctioned, billion-dollar human trafficking with better marketing.

  • California keeps over a million adoptees locked out of our own origins
  • 50,000–60,000 children in foster care right now – the highest raw number in the nation
  • $500–800 million every year in fees, subsidies, and federal adoption bonuses in California alone
  • 300,000+ unaccompanied migrant children “lost” and funneled into the same system that sells kids
  • Adoptees attempt suicide at 4 times the rate of non-adoptees – because separation is the original trauma
